CEDEP Bilungual Pre-nursery, Nursery and Primary School is a new community school founded by a 2 families, who are board members of a community based organization known as
Center for Developement and Environmental Protection (CEDEP) located in Sabga-
Babanki Tungoh. Ngemeny Yvonne and Mecaly Ebenezer, Fonkem Daisy and Brian Viyof are the board members of CEDEP and also the founders of CBPNPS located at Menteh-Nkwen-Bamenda (NWR-Cameroon).
MENTEH VILLAGE
Menteh village, has a population of about 50,000 people with only one catholic primary school. The village has a forest located up the hills and a watershed (catchement). Hunting of animals is common and cutting down of forest for fuel wood is rampant. kids and youths of school going age don't have good educational facility as compared to those located just 20 km from the village and very few households can afford quality education to their children in the nearby city. More than 90 % of households live below porverty line. Very few youths in this community go to school and teenage mothers are common. There is no community library were children and students can student, no basic science laboratory for practicals. This situatio is same for communities like Ndop where there are 10 seconday high schools and 2 professional schools and there is no library, science laboratory for students and internet service to promote research and networking.

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The parent teacher association is an integral part of the managing board of the school. Critical issues relating to improving on the learning conditions of the kids (children) are often discussed and concensus reached. A quarterly meeting is often held with the school administration to discuss on the progress of the school program. This meeting is often held at the begining of the month in each quarter.
